Meet the Organizers
Miriam Mandel & Rivky Janowski
Mrs. Miriam Mandel is a speech-language pathologist specializing in providing early intervention coaching to families and educators. She is passionate about eliminating unnecessary "red tape" from the shidduch process.
Mrs. Rivky Janowski is a therapist and a dating coach who enjoys helping people connect. She’s passionate about creating events where singles feel comfortable, relaxed, and able to make real connections.
What is Dovetail?
While shidduch resumes were initially intended to make the dating process easier, they too often act as a barrier. A person is not a piece of paper!
Dovetail hosts thoughtfully curated mixers to help like-minded singles connect in a tasteful, casual environment. Our events feature icebreakers and other activities to encourage meaningful conversation and connection.
Our events empower singles to take action instead of waiting and relying exclusively on others.
We’re just regular people, balancing families, careers, and everyday life, but we care, and our hope is to fill this void in our community.
Based in Baltimore, Dovetail is fortunate to have Rabbi Jonathan Aryeh Seidemann as our rabbinic advisor. We consult him about any relevant halachic and hashkafic issues.
